Blessings Miniature Horse Farm
Don and Nancy Walters
Lindale, Texas
903-881-9598
We are native Texans that retired to East Texas to have the time of our lives raising miniature horses.  Nancy is a retired science teacher, and Don retired as a marketing manager.  Both of us have enjoyed animals throughout our lives, and both of us have shown and trained animals in our youth. Nancy even did a little barrel racing!

After raising three wonderful daughters and being blessed with three sons-in-laws and seven grandchildren, we entered retirement and a new chapter in our lives.  How fortunate that this chapter includes miniature horses!  We have found you can do everything with a mini that you can with a "big horse," except for riding.  Their personalities are very sweet, and they are a joy to lavish care on as we give each horse an abundance of individual attention daily.  It was nice to discover that miniature horses are very economical, too!

We have started our show career, and find both the challenges and successes very rewarding.  Our goal is to produce outstanding horses that will be successful in the show ring as well as being wonderful pets.  We can tell that we are well on our way as we observe the carefully chosen bloodlines we have assembled.  These horses  continue to produce very high quality foals each year. Our horses are given the best of care with diet and all health needs (wormings, farrier, and vaccinations  regularly)  They are also given an abundance of affection each day from the moment of birth. The grandchildren especially love to help out with that !

Welcome to our world, and come visit us!
